Lately, my husband and I have been thinking about playing with the SCA again. I think we would seriously consider it if we were able to find something relatively close to us. I'm hesitant to start with a LARP group to be honest. In my experience, it takes them a while to get the right mindset and I think it would drive me nutty. :p No... you cannot wear your elven armor! There were no wings in period! Ok, so I am exaggerating, but you know what I mean. Plus they seemed to be very focused on fighting which indicates that we will likely not mesh well. Not totally shutting them out, but very cautious, you know ( ... )

We'll miss you if you can't come to the ball! But you've been missing the SCA haven't you? And like you said to me, there will be many other balls to go to! Also it sounds like it would be amazing to help set up your own group!

Not sure. David says he isn't sure he wants to go as it will be a late night. He's been a bit blah on the dancing thing lately so we'll see. If we don't see you, have fun!
