This weekend I finally managed to get some time to sew! I was worried because Saturday we drove out to the base in Suffolk to get David new glasses. As it turned out, they didn't have much of a selection for men and what they did have was very expensive. We ended up getting them locally after all. But... we did get to eat taco bell and bring home

Is a crossover type gown no good for dancing at a ball? Tell this girl, who knows little about the rules of Regency fashion, why!

A crossover evening style would be more appropriate for a mature lady at a ball, but is fine for dancing. As my foot is keeping me from dancing, I thought it would be good because it provides a little more coverage with a higher neckline and elbow length sleeves. I might get a little cool as others will be keeping warm by dancing.
