Honestly, half the time I still wonder how on earth the two of us have gotten so close. How on earth we seem to understand each other better than most of the island does. I... I want to say that I love you like a sister, but that isn't even it. You're a hero to me, pushing yourself to help other people, to learn as much as you can, never holding back. And you still manage to love people, to hold them close, and I'm just in awe of you always. I don't know why you put up with a little country girl like me, but I'll never argue otherwise, 'cause I can't imagine life without you around. And I hope I'll never have to know that.
