The "wasting your time" comment boggles me. How is writing a rare pairing any more a waste of time that writing a popular pairing? You still write because it gives you satisfaction.

Well, what she meant was that E/C was what she wanted to see from me, and that in her opinion, E/P wasn't as worthy because it didn't make sense to her. So that was her personal preference, which I get in a sense (she wants more of what she wants) but don't get in a logical, "why can't you imagine Erik and the daroga doin' it?" sense.

Ha!! Julian Sands is amazing and awesome in the weirdest, most mesmerizing and completely inexplicable ways. I think I saw him in Warlock first and then that cracktastic Boxing Helena. I still watch movies just because he is in them. The badness (or sheer oddness) of those movie never cease to be amazing ... or mind boggling.
