I had written a big, long, and in-depth review of Spider-Man 3 which - thanks to the wonders of the web-based post form and OS-X, is now gone forever.
I liked it.
Effects were good.
Acting was decent.
Music was a pleasant surprise since Elfman wasn't scoring.
Could have done without some of the singing.

Birthday catastrophes
Bad shit that has happened on my birthday (August 24th) throughout history:
