Without really thinking, I re-installed "City of Heroes" last night.  Otaku Man, cape and all, was there waiting for me.  I think I was urged by all the "City of Villians" advertising.  As it stands, NCSoft decided not to charge an additional fee for CoV when it comes out later this month.  I might have to partake.  We'll see ( Read more... )

Lost?

We have been emphatically and continually promised that they are not dead, in purgatory, or dreaming. Guess again, my friend!

I'm thinking it's a giant "BF Skinner" experiment, and there is a hidden theme of faith and belief ... Locke is all about the historic John Locke's tabula rasa, where everyone is born with a clean slate (he's got his legs back, Kate is free now, Walt and his son have reconciled) the Dharma Initiative (Hindu) includes the Taoist Bagua and the Swan & Arrow are from Indian mythology.

In a couple episodes we'll learn more about the difference between the Lostaways and the Tailaways. I think this is a clue-rich area of the story, as the Tailaways have had a lot more contact with the Others.
