The beta is buggy and the video code needs serious streamlining.  The visuals themselves don't look any better than CoH, but that's not particularily surprising considering the fact that it's the opposite side of the same coin.  The gameplay is also quite similar, but the new power sets seem interesting.  I threw together a Master Mind character ( Read more... )

Without really thinking, I re-installed "City of Heroes" last night.  Otaku Man, cape and all, was there waiting for me.  I think I was urged by all the "City of Villians" advertising.  As it stands, NCSoft decided not to charge an additional fee for CoV when it comes out later this month.  I might have to partake.  We'll see ( Read more... )
