"Dee?"

"Hmmm?"

"Nothing. ... ... It's a nice night."

"Yes, it is."

"Not too hot, not too cold."

"Just right for lying on the beach in the middle of the night, listening to the ocean?"

"Or just right for taking advantage of my wife with no one to see."

"Hey now, I'm getting married in the morning."

"So am I. Maybe I have wild oats to sow. C'mere. Let me get in one last fling before he makes me an honest woman."

"HA!"

"... ..."

"El..."

"Yeah?"

"We're getting married in the morning."

"Are you having second thoughts?"

"No. ... Are you?"

"I don't think so. Just didn't expect it, I guess."

"Having two spouses?"

"Marrying a man."

"Oh."

"Are you sure you're okay with this?"

"Isn't it a little late to be asking that?"

"I mean it. Are you okay with this? Really okay with it?"

"It's not my first experience with two husbands, if that's what you mean."

"Excuse me?"

"Not me. Someone I knew. She had two husbands. So, I am familiar with the math. ...And the last few months, I've had some hands-on experience."

"Yeah, well... hands-on is definitely the best way to learn."

"El... do you like him?"

"Yes."

"Do you love him?"

"Yes."

"Then what's the problem?"

"I don't want to hurt you."

"He asked me to marry him, too, El. I'm not giving you away. Well, I guess I am technically giving you away. But you're giving me away... who gives him away?"

"I mean... that's not what I meant and you know it."

"El, it's okay. I'm okay with sharing you. As long as you are okay with being shared."

"I just don't want you to think that, because I love him, I love you less."

"I don't think that, Elly. I never did. ... I never will."

"You promise?"

"I do."

"You're not supposed to say that until tomorrow. Twice."

"I do-do."

"That's attractive."

"That's why you married me."

"Why did I marry you?"

"Because I did this."

"Hey!"

"And I can do... this."

"Mmm. Do that again."

"This?"

"Yes."

"You want me to do this? Just like... that?"

"I do."

"Not supposed to say that until tomorrow."

"Shut up."

"You love me."

"Yes. I do."
