last friday a bunch of us from CIENA went out
(which BTW never happens)
we have a few buildings around linthicum
and the employees are pretty local
so we all went to cancun cantina

the venue is awesome
half country, half pop/rock
fridays there are two bands, one for each side
when the cover band got old we mosey'd over to country

started my new job last week at Ciena, its a fiber-optics facility
11-14 hour shifts are awesome.. kinda.

so thats pretty much all i do
i know, drop off the face of the earth..

only TWO more days left at retail hell.. aka best buy.

i'm really excited, but REAL nervous about having to start a new job & get training.. etc. not to mention- be the youngest one there by a good 6 years. but the pay will be good and the experience will help tons. (plus, day shifts & weekends off!)

( but its true that many people grow up to be the complete opposite of their parents. )

there aren't a whole lot of things that piss me off.
but this is one of them:

if you make plans with me, please keep them. i will sit around all day and wait
or schedule my other plans around those aforementioned so they don't overlap.

School starts tomorrow!!! And I am excited. Tuesday/Thursday will be sooooo much better than MWF, especially since I have that extra day to work, and its like a 4-day weekend (to do homework.)
