after the whole drama with mom and charrone, I've begun to hate my mother.
The whole "gays are gay because they are missing something in their life?"
What a load of bull....
Now I'm hurting and I can no longer trust my mother

Don't hate. Hate is a waste of emotion and energy, and you'll end up being like the people who originally engender that hate. Vicious cycle. Instead, love your mom. Pray for her, however you choose to pray. Easier said than done, I know, but it's the healthier option.

I agree that what your mom said was crap. My own mom has a similar viewpoint, I'm sure, though it's not an issue for me. I know that there are subjects I cannot talk with Mom about, especially sex-again, not really an issue at the moment, but someday it will be, and I know I can't really go to her for advice when I do become active. It doesn't mean I don't trust her with other issues, tho. Give it time, let the furor die down a bit.
