So, a few of you may or may not have gathered from my ongoing complaining (off-line) that our furnace is broken. It has two settings -- on (sweat lodge) and off (can make Otter Pops on the coffee table). We've been managing this fairly well since it started to get cold; it's like a Little House on the Prairie game to see how long we can last into

1. She is a clever little monkey! I laughed over that one, for sure.
2. We had the folks over for Thanksgiving! We cleaned until about 3:30 a.m. -- but it was worth it!
3. Hat = knit by me (2x2 rib, repeat ad infinitum), from yarn that Maggi gave me, scarf = commercially made crochet skinny scarf.

I am feeling your pain, literally. I am spending the week at my in-laws place this week. Dad does not believe in heat, probably because he likes to keep his doors open during the day, seriously, all-day. Yesterday it was a balmy 59 degrees inside.
