Sorry if I haven't been in touch.  I've pretty much been living at my brother and sister-in-law's house helping them out with the new baby.  Basically helping keep the house clean and entertaining the baby when she's content so that they can sleep.  It's been really fun.  I'm so lucky to have this time with her!

Christmas has basically been baby time.  It's been awesome.  We arrived at my brother and Ashley's yesterday and stayed overnight and did it all again today - so fun!

I got a new pair of UGGs per my request and then money.  That's what I wanted - I'm unemployed and broke, haha.  Not very exciting for opening gifts, but VERY practical for my current ( Read more... )

My niece Sofia and sister-in-law Ashley got to come home from the hospital today.  A day earlier than planned since she ended up having to have a c-section, but Ashley and Sofia were doing so well that they let them out.  Max & Ashley were very happy and I made sure their entire house was perfectly clean and tidy for them to bring the baby home.  ( Read more... )

It's been an insanely LONG two days, but little Sofia Marie Rosemire has finally made her appearance and I am an insanely proud aunt!

Ashley's water broke around 9pm on Thursday and they checked into the hospital around 10pm.  My parents and I arrived about 10:30pm and stayed for the duration of the process - hanging out in the birthing room with ( Read more... )

I'm on my way to their house to take care of their dog until her sister arrives to keep her company and then I'm off to the hospital to wait it out for this little bugger - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

So they had their weekly dr. appt. this morning.  Nothing has changed and so we wait....

They said that if it doesn't happen on it's own in the next couple of days, then they have another dr. appt. on Monday (Christmas Eve) and at that point they will see how things are and schedule to be induced AFTER Christmas.  So watch this little bugger come on ( Read more... )
