That production sounds super disappointing. What a shame! I do hope you will get to see a better one another time.

Now I'm asking myself if I've ever seen Hamlet live. I know I've seen at least a couple of movie versions, but maybe I haven't in fact seen it on stage. Hm!

Yeah, it was definitely not good. But at least I didn't pay too much for it!

Yeah, I'd seen one version of Hamlet in movie form (Kenneth Brannagh, I think?) and I actually think seeing it live is better. Even if this production was disappointing, there's something about the immediacy of seeing a play performed that creates a different effect than a filmed version.
