So, it is about  3 months, 14 weeks, 100 days, or 2400 minutes until Anthrocon 2011.  Here's hoping my knees are in better shape until then for all the walking around.

Thirty some years ago, I started labor on a Friday. Three days later on October 31,
I gave birth to a Halloweenie baby boy!

Did I know then that  the little goblin would grow up to be a
spook-tacular young man?
 No, but my, my.  He has certainly done that!

I have not made any entries in a while not because I did not want too, but was just too busy. Next weekend, at this time, I will be more than half-way through Anthrocon 2008.  I guess it is as good a way to use some of my vacation days as any other way.  Cool air-conditioned buildings. lots of things to do and see, people to meet, entertainment, food & drink, beautiful downtown Pittsburgh.  It is much better than being ill in the hospital ( Read more... )

One week from today I will be flying on my way to visit distant, never seen before (most likely never to be seen again) relatives in Poland!
