*So, this is a random set of drabbles, set around the same statement or question. Basically I had the urge to write some Gaunt fanfic, and started by writing the Merope piece here, and the idea manifested into this. I'm most pleased with hers and Nevilles. Oooo, I like this. Interesting takes on all the characters! And you didn't pick the most predictable ones, either; most people just give up on any kind of moral greyness with Bellatrix and make her completely evil, but I like that you toyed with the idea of something more.

Thanks! I wanted to get across a range of characters, and include both good and bad characters (and all those inbetween). Its very easy with a character like Bellatrix to make her completely evil, but she was just a child once, and I always think it had to start somewhere. While her love for Voldemort had a huge part, I think there must have been a point when she fell for the dark arts too (at a younger age). Not to mention growing up with the Black family.
