Yay good fic! As I was about to go to sleep, too. I really like this. I can't state enough how much I really like this. I've never even seen this idea before, and it's really interesting.

Oooh, lovely and evocative. I like how you saved the actual text of the inscription for the end.

*sniffle*

I confess, it reminds me of a 'fic with... similar purpose, although written and placed a good bit earlier:

The contrast is interesting - Harry alone, Harry in sympathetic company. I still think Herself owes us.

I'm really surprised there's not more fic where Harry has some kind of memorial for Sirius, simply because we didn't get it in OotP and then we didn't get it in HBP.

This was very touching. Perfect send-off for Sirius, especially everything Harry sees in the smoke at the end. I loved the group that assembled-- all the right people. I loved that McGonagall inherited the put-outer, and Fred and George greeting her.

dressed in Muggle jeans and an old black leather jacket that's too big for his thin frame. Quite possibly as hot as the fire.

There were loads of other things I loved, but then I'd be quoting the whole story back to you, so I'd better stop now. But this is definitely going in memories.
