I see less sexual tension between Zoe and Mal than between Veronica and Wallace.
It's not so much that I see USt between them as I see very strong, loving feelings that could turn sexual.
have this theory that Zoe and Mal got really drunk on the first anniversary of Serenity Valley and had sex for the one and only time and decided they would never a) have sex again or b) talk about the time they did have sex.
Hee! SOmeone should write that.
Outside of my own little fantasy world, I completely agree with you about Mal and Inara. But my fantasy world is a fun place with good episodes of Smallville and Sirius alive and living with Remus in a cottage on the coast.
Oooh R/S ficlet! *snuggles it* I'm always at a loss with your writing and I end up just saying "Oooh, beautiful" because, well it's so very true. And, I've always believed that it was Sirius who was the chocolate lover and that Remus carries it first for him then as a reminder of him, so this makes me extra happy.

It's a theory I play with, mostly because chocoholic Remus is such a fanon cliche now. I'm glad it works for you, though. *g*
No one knows that Sirius loves flying because he’s never been afraid to fall but that he’s actually not very good at Quidditch because he’s never been a team player.
Heh. That's the EXACT reason I've never put Sirius on a Quidditch team. I think he'd be rather terrible at it, in that sense.
Yeah, I have a whole digression about why he doesn't play on the school team in one of my WsIP. He's all right in pick up games, but not when it's organized and he's expected to share the limelight - and the ball - with someone other than James. *G*
Great ficlet...shinywhimsyMarch 30 2005, 23:32:12 UTC
They don’t know that Sirius only drinks tea because he thinks it makes Remus like to kiss him -- he is endearingly daft on the subject and still hasn’t realized that Remus would kiss him anyway, kiss him breathless and be glad, even with the stale taste of sleep in his mouth.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww! *loves puppies*

Oh, I have no words to explain how much I loved this description of Sirius. *happy sigh*

Agreed! But as I love flying (paragliding) myself, I didn't quite word it like this in my head...
For me, playing Quidditch wouldn't be a good way to enjoy a flight. Fling is a solitary pleasure! And, well, liking to fly because one's never been afraid of falling doesn't feel like a sufficient reason to me. I don't like chocolate because I'm not afraid to get fat! Flying, it's feeling invisible things such as ascending currents and the air wave made by a hill and the difference between the air close to the ground which smells of vegetation and heat and the air close to the clouds which smells of dampness and iodine. It's looking down and feeling like you could go everywhere. It's meeting birds. When you don't use an engine, it's knowing that you went up there just with an artificial wind and choosing the good currents. Just look thereI can totally imagine that Sirius

Well, it's more a poetic way of saying Sirius is adventurous and fearless and freedom-loving, and that's why flying appeals to him, rather than a literal statement of causal relationships.
