what a clusterfuck of a day. usually this only happens to me on Tuesdays, so I don't even know what the fuck is going on today. The trains, technology, my own brain - it's all working against me in small but super aggravating ways that make it hard to catch up and stay on top of shit I need to be doing. Lots of times people spend a few weeks in a skilled nursing facility mostly paid for by Medicare, then go home when they're in slightly better shape--it's not the same as going to a custodial nursing home permanently. The hospital has a discharge planner whose job it is to figure out this stuff and talk to patients and families.

Oh, that's totally the plan, and hopefully this other condition will resolve itself so he can come home when it's time.
