I would totally read the shameful fic if you wrote it, just fyi. Them being all "she likes pilots, he likes snarky senators, why not?" while you as the reader are going NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sounds fun to me in a terrible way - I mean, one of the great joys of Marauders fic, to me, is bits when James has some reason to be like SEE PETER IS THE ONLY ONE WHO STANDS BY ME YOU WANKERS.
