Lots of things to consider in todays post!
Im not rooting for teams in the playoffs, though thats not very fannish of me.
If there are still tix available for Star Wars on the first weekend, i should check. Im with you--too old for the hysterical crushes of people on the first day.
I stopped reading the first Ancillary book when i hopelessly lost track of the way ships personnel are arranged. But i found a helpful infographic on io9 so maybe i will head back in and take it up again. I really liked the story.

I was surprised at how many good seats were available for the Saturday show, but I guess Saturday at 12:30 pm is not prime movie-going time. *g*

Yeah, it took me a little bit to wrap my head around it, but overall I enjoyed the trilogy a lot.
