We watch The Flash, and last night's episode was pretty good. Iris has always played the ingenue very well, but now that she knows Barry is the Flash, it's time for her to put on the big girl panties. I'd like to see her actively involved in the rescue of Eddie/the capture of Dr. Wells (though he should never be captured because he's our bad guy).

Yeah, I'd love for her to be an active and contributing member of Team Flash.

really, Barry? Iris maybe having feelings for you and keeping it a secret is IN NO WAY comparable to what you did. Iris's feelings are her own and she gets to act on them, or not, AS SHE SEES FIT. Also, you only know that because of a timeline you erased! So stfu and apologize like a grown up!

SERIOUSLY, YO. That irritated me so much. It was such a douchey thing to say, and... ugh. Iris' righteous fury was grand to watch, but I wish she went and physically kicked some balls (...okay, that would have been weird with her dad, but you know what I mean.)

Your second paragraph! Hahahaha. This ridiculous show. A timeline reset with Fringe-style AU is the only way I could see Tom Cavanaugh staying on the show as Wells, so I think there is a real chance of that. He's such a huge part of the show, I don't know if it can stand in his absence.

Yeah, like, I love Barry, but come the fuck on man!

I think it maybe could? If they had Clancy Brown around regularly as a villain/antagonist? But I'd really rather they didn't have to.

But yeah, even if they didn't do it for a whole season, a four or six episode arc in an AU would be amazing.

I seriously need some iZombie icons

Me too!

I get her not telling him about a dangerous, psychotic, murderous zombie that he has no chance against, but I think she could tell him more than she has. I even think that if Major knew *someone* was going to take down the Candy Man he might even not try to be on the front lines as cannon fodder.

That's a good point. I don't think we have heard why she hasn't said anything, especially since she can prove it and have Ravi corroborate. I think she's going to learn that maybe she shouldn't be keeping Major so out of the loop. As you say, she doesn't have to tell him everything to give him some info.

But I think this was their way of showing that even zombie rats have a full on zombie mode with eye changes but also can be calm. The rat tradecraft is strong!

Hee! Yeah. And also maybe since it didn't want to bite Liv since she was already a zombie, it was chill.

i saw the opening credits and went "erica cerra! aaron douglas! ...filmed in vancouver!" which is a good thing because otherwise i wouldn't have recognized him AT ALL. and ugh, what a horrible character.

i figured lowell was just buying gourmet brains without necessarily knowing how blaine acquired them. which just makes me wonder what kinds of questions conscientious zombies ask him about his brains, and what he tells them. like, do people think they're getting free-range organic brains? or whatever the zombie equivalent is. humanely raised/killed, whatever.

if ravi turns into a zombie i will be most put out.

I watched BSG but I'm totally blanking on Erica Cerra. Who was she?

Ah good point. That could be where the mortician/funeral home story came from.

she was on eureka and (very briefly) the end of the 100. for whatever reason i thought eureka was also filmed in greater vancouver, but i could be wrong. mostly it was a "hey, actors i recognize from other genre shows!" moment.

i figure blaine must have some lofty buzzword-filled explanation for conscientious brain-eaters about where he sources his brains from. i mean, it's not like he's going to tell people "oh, this one's from a street kid with sparkly shoes", y'know?

edited to add that i don't watch the flash but i totally agree that if you have clancy brown on your show, you should always try to have MORE clancy brown on your show.

Oh, I thought you meant she was also on BSG. Now that you've mentioned the 100, though, she was the AI at the end?

Ethically and sustainably sourced from local funeral homes!

...I really need an iZombie icon. Oh well, here's not-a-zombie-Jason.

i totally agree that if you have clancy brown on your show, you should always try to have MORE clancy brown on your show.

Sleepy Hollow dropped the ball on that one, but hopefully The Flash writers know better. *g*
