Ok, if Mr. Plastic dies I might actually try watching SHIELD again.

He's actually slightly more interesting now that he's evil, but I'm still hoping he dies. *hands*

Knowing Whedon, Skyewalker will have to kill him. Maybe that would even make her more interesting! Although it would be hard for me to be less interested in her. Why can't May have her own show? Women Who Kick Ass and Don't Care What You Think Anyway. I'd watch the hell out of that.

Oh, I totally expect either Skye having to kill him or him dying to save her. (The latter because that is how cliched the writing on the show is.)

I would much prefer the Melinda May show you describe.

Yeah, Skye/Ward is blah. But I don't mind him being evil. I wouldn't mind if he didn't die if he remained this unrepentant evil bastard who keeps messing things up for Coulson and Co.

The way Coulson is behaving, no wonder Fury wanted May to keep an eye on him.

Yeah, I would accept that, because it's more entertaining than the blah good guy version.

Seriously! I mean, I get that he's had his whole foundation yanked out from under him, but he's got other people depending on him. Not the time to go to pieces!

The show seems to have a very different idea of SHIELD than Winter Soldier did, even though the show has spent a lot of time showing us how shady it is with everyone, including its own people. I'd prefer Agents of Nothing.

I do find Ward more interesting as gleeful evil with Garrett but this thing with Skye makes me worry it'll be short-lived. Coulson seems to forget that SHIELD is a secretive spy organization, or maybe it's just that it's okay when he decides to be secretive with others but not when it's done to him. (You can't do that to him! He's Level 7!) He's sucking as a leader and a person lately.

Yeah. Coulson keeps acting like it's an unalloyed good that got corrupted, rather than deeply shady even on its own. He's been really irritating to me lately.

This show is seriously ruining his character for me. I liked him in the movies but in the show I wish he'd shut up.

For me, too. I also don't love the repeated chorus of how awesome he is from various characters.
