I was thinking of checking out Teen Wolf, since it appears to have at least two things I enjoy (cute boys and heavily armed women) but after reading a bunch of reaction posts on Tumblr... I dunno. :(

It has its charms? I like the Scott/Stiles friendship, and their relationships with their single parents, and I really like a number of the lady characters, but the show does have the unfortunate problem of leaving its white guys alive (even the bad guys!) while killing off a lot of ladies.

Character death is such a lazy way of making drama and, yeah, it's all the worse when there's that imbalance :/

I was just ranting about Teen Wolf and I'm still fuming. And I was really enjoying the last few episodes so very much. This kinda ruined it for me. Totally stupid and useless.

ETA: Okay, the wee!Cap & Co. actually did cheer me up a little. Awwwwwww!

I really didn't want to watch this ep cuz of the rapey overtones with Lydia (AGAIN) and then when I saw where it was going and it was just NO NO NO NO all the way through. I am beyond angry right now. When I watched it last night I was kind of numb and resigned. Today I may have cried a bit at all the lovely gifs of Allison. This shit happens all the damn time. Every single damn time. We don't get to have nice things because we are apparently underserving of it. The only thing we are good for as women, in media, is to be victims or to further manpain. I'm so tired of all of this shit. Today I'm just so sad. Seriously, fuck all the JD apologists and screw him ( ... )
