i loved watching moriarty and joan together - moriarty trying to wind joan up and joan totally refusing to rise to the bait. and i totally agree with you that even tho moriarty is jealous of joan, she doesn't totally know why. and for all that moriarty and sherlock were really similar, he's changed because he has joan, and she hasn't because she doesn't. altho to be honest i'm not totally sure she's capable of changing like he did.... in any case, it was a really good, interesting episode.

(and i too really liked that sherlock wasn't the kid's dad. i don't think i have an opinion on who i want dad to be, tho.)

Yeah, it was some really interesting interaction and I hope they continue it when Moriarty shows up again.

Your thoughts on Sherlock in Elementary are most elegant! I also really liked how she tried to get under Joan's skin but Joan was just not having it. MY VERY FAVORITE THING EVER.

Heh. Thanks. I think they're doing some very interesting things. I still want more Joan-centric stuff, but I can't argue with how they've used her in relation to Moriarty.

I am DANCING WITH JOY at the idea of a Peggy Carter TV show. I will buy it on all platforms and watch it even if it turns out to be awful.

I keep hoping we get a more reliable source, because I REALLY REALLY WANT IT TO BE TRUE.

Elementary is the only incarnation of Sherlock Holmes that I've never seen. Must rectify that soon.

Do you ever watch Sherlock, by the way? I'd be interested in your thoughts on it, if you do :)

I recommend Elementary. It's a surprisingly nuanced look at someone dealing with recovery from drug addiction.

I watched the first three episodes of Sherlock but it didn't interest me - I disliked that iteration of the character a lot.

I'll definitely check it out at some point :)

I'm sorry to hear that. I love him rather a lot XD (In so much as you can love Sherlock Holmes. He's never a likable character.
