So I just got home from an emergency eye doctor appointment and a trip to the pharmacy. I woke up with serious pain in my left eye, like something had gotten up under the lid and would just not come out, but the pain was pretty sharp - it teared all day and was red and gross - so I saw the doctor (which my insurance will barely cover - one eye exam ( Read more... )

I really enjoyed the Jenny/Irving action team up. I hope they do that more.

Wait- I didn't think she was really a Quaker? I thought that was a put on - although I have no idea why... I have no idea why this show does half of what it does, to tell you the truth, but I continue to love it like pie. I also LOVE Katrina.

Although right now I am shipping Jenny/Irving harder than anyone.

POOR JOHN CHO.

If she was undercover that makes way more sense, well, as much as anything on this show makes sense, but I can't see a strategic value for it. Which is probably not something I should be looking for. Heh.

The best part of all of that Ichabod&Headless stuff was at the end when Ichabod kept on trying to whine and Abbie kept on shutting him down. OMG you mean it's not all about the white dude's arrogant manpain? Oh my. Abbie is just the best.

As are Irving and Jenny. Their team-up of badass was just the best.

Yes! Sorry Ichabod, Abbie has not me for your man pain! There is an apocalypse to stop.

Yeah I guess it does explain the focus on Ichabod. I can roll with that. In addition to it tying back to the original story

UGH! to the eye problem. I had something very similar early this year. It turned out to be severe dry eye brought on by allergies-- although I still don't understand why it only affected one eye. The drops took care of it pretty quickly though. Which is good because OW, ouch, owie!

I LOVE Almost Human! I am so surprised you don't. I love all the references to other things like Blade Runner and BSG. And the production values are gorgeous. And the banter is really funny. That's how you do it, Agents of SHIELD.

P. S. -- Sunil is on Twitter now! I just found out today and we both think you should join Twitter too. Joinnnnn ussssss, Vic! Jooiiiiinnnnn ussssssss.....

My eye doctor said she's seen a lot of it recently. I figure it's the change in the weather. I blame everything on that.

I liked Almost Human and I'll keep watching it so far but I think they need to give Urban more than Cranky Generic cop to play.

I think SHIELD could learn a lot from Arrow, like how to be entertaining even when the writing is clunky.
