So first thing I did when I got home - after taking off my work clothes and putting on pajamas - was watch the Captain America: Winter Soldier trailer.

Now that my fangirl shrieking has quieted to a dull roar, some thoughts:

STEEEEVE. He is the best! I did not expect to love him so much but I DO. And yeah, I remember being skeptical about Chris Evans, mostly because I think all I'd seen him in was Fantastic Four. But he totally won me over.

I agree that spending the first half hour of the movie with skinny!Steve was a really smart decision on the filmmakers' part, because yeah, it proved that he was always a lionheart, even in the 98 lb weakling body. Sigh. Oh Steve.

It can be April 14, 2014 now?

BUCKY! EVERYTHING WITH BUCKY! THE KNIFE! CATCHING THE SHIELD! THE ROBOT ARM! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THESE BUCKY FEELS. AND NEITHER DOES STEVE.

I KNOW, RIGHT?!??!?? I flailed at my computer at work SO HARD, I think I'mma get fired over Bucky. WORTH IT.

there's like a FLASH of a shot that looks like Steve carrying Natasha out of ~badness though so I am EXCITED BUT WORRIED OMG
