i wonder if the show just has too much mytharc and backstory and monster of the week to give us to take time out for abbie and ichabod to go clothes shopping. either that or the ptb have determined that a lot of viewers think ichabod is really hot in his eighteenth-century clothes.... even if he does no doubt smell like death. (literally.)

i liked the explanation for jenny and abbie's rift too. i've liked all the sister stuff so far. and not just because i like both sisters, altho that's definitely a factor. it helps mitigate the historical and cultural facepalm.

Oh, I think they think we'll forget he's from the 18th c. if he's not wearing knee breeches, so I doubt we'll see him in modern clothes any time soon, but I just don't get how nobody in the show is like, "...you brought a Revolutionary War reenactor with you?"

And he did try to wash them out in the shower! I wouldn't mind seeing more shower scenes with him...
