Batwoman was one of the only nu52 books I've thought about catching up with, but NOPE. #DC LOOK AT YOUR LIFE. LOOK AT YOUR CHOICES.

Lead white dude in SHIELD reminds me of lead white dude in H50, who IMO has always been the weakest link. Hoping this guy isn't.

Melinda May FTW. I require icons....

Yeah, that guy is why I gave up on H50. So wooden and boring and also I had a lot of problems with his disregard for suspects' rights - it was somehow even worse on that show than most cop shows.

I'm guessing DC Editorial had a bit of a say in the Waller casting, since she's young and skinny in Nu52. (That and someone on the Arrow casting team really, really loved Spartacus. The first time she and Slade share a scene is going to be distracting!) I'll just go into it with the mindset this is a young, still starting out Waller, just like the show's about a young Ollie.

But the Squad! And Bronze Tiger! It's hard to be mad about that.

Yeah, having her be just starting out is the way to look at it, I guess. And one of these days, I will watch Spartacus so I will know what you mean. *g*

I always rely on the internet to remind me when shows are starting/coming back.

As far as DC is concerned, it's like they're actively trying to be repellent now. I don't even know.

I have to give Ironside a chance, since a few years ago I wrote a long post about how they needed to do a new version of this with a really really hot Ironside, and slashy slashy undertones (which the original had to some degree, but ew, Raymond Burr looked like my grandpa--and did you know that Raymond Burr was gay, and had a longterm relationship/). I also asked for Paul Gross, but I guess you can't have everything.

Heh. I remember that. I like Blair Underwood, so I guess we'll see how it goes.

Ironside was a 70s detective show about a brilliant detective (I'm pretty sure he was a cop) in a wheelchair, played by Raymond Burr in the original, and Blair Underwood in this remake.

I'm sure the internet will remind us when it's time for Almost Human to actually air.
