Our only goal will be the western shore

Batwoman was one of the only nu52 books I've thought about catching up with, but NOPE. #DC LOOK AT YOUR LIFE. LOOK AT YOUR CHOICES.

Fall TV season is soon upon us, so I guess this is what my TV-watching schedule currently looks like:

Sunday

Sunday is football day for me in the fall/winter, meaning I will turn the TV on at 10 am for ESPN NFL Sunday and basically watch the Giants, the Jets, and whoever else is playing through the end of Sunday Night Football (and possibly stay up for Miked Up if the Giants have a particularly good day).

Once Upon a Time
I haven't watched the last two episodes of last season's Once Upon a Time and I haven't missed the show, so I don't know if I'm going to continue watching it. I thought "The Miller's Daughter" was such a fantastic episode that everything after that kind of paled. So I don't know.

The Good Wife
I am eagerly awaiting the return of this show (and I'm so glad TWC and CBS settled before the season started), though having it be displaced repeatedly by football sucks. But FLORRICK, AGOS & ASSOCIATES. BRING IT ON. Please don't back away from this, show!

Monday

Almost Human
Karl Urban! Michael Ealy! Lili Taylor! Minka Kelly! Please don't suck! I have such high hopes! This actually doesn't start until November (? I think?), though, which is sad.

Sleepy Hollow
I'm putting this tentatively on the schedule mainly because Nicole Beharie is gorgeous and she was super charismatic in 42, and also because it looks like it might be fun.

And of course, there is also Monday Night Football.

Tuesday

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Most anticipated show of the new crop! And I can tell you right now that that is probably the first and last time I will be typing out the full name of the show like that. I know some people are abbreviating it MAOS, but can't it just be SHIELD? That is what I plan to call it and tag it. I am so here for Ming-Na Wen and J. August Richards (please don't die! Please be recurring!). I plan to enjoy Coulson and hope the other white guy lead isn't as boring/annoying as he looks in the previews.

Wednesday

Arrow
I hope s2 starts off at the same level of good that s1 ended on. Plus, Felicity and Slade have both been promoted to regulars, so that should be fun. I'm not pleased about them casting Amanda Waller as young and skinny, but on the other hand, at least they didn't white-wash her like they've done to Sin Lance. (I mean, on the one hand, SIN! On the other hand, why do that? WHY?)

(I still long for the book where Lian, Sin, Irey, and Milagro make up the core Teen Titans, with Damian as their super grumpy strategist, insisting he is the leader because Robin always leads the Titans. Milagro is not impressed. Ramsey Robinson can be on the team too.)

Ironside
I will probably not watch this unless people all y'all say it's worth it, but Ironside was a staple in my house growing up, so. It's a possibility.

(One day I will marathon Nashville and add it back to my viewing schedule, but I don't think that day's coming any time soon.)

Thursday

Community
Whenever October 19th is this year, I will be watching, despite my distaste for Dan Harmon and the fact that Donald Glover is leaving.

(One day I will marathon Parks & Recreation and maybe add it to my viewing schedule, but I don't think that day's coming any time soon.)

The Michael J. Fox Show
I don't really think I will watch this regularly? But I will check it out because Michael J. Fox.

Elementary
This is the returning show I'm most excited about (well, and also The Good Wife). JOAN! Sherlock! CLYDE! BEES! Alfredo! Bell! Ms. Hudson!

(One day I will marathon Scandal and maybe add it to my viewing schedule, but I don't think that day's coming any time soon.)

Friday

Nothing

Saturday

Nothing

And of course, once hockey season starts, I will be watching the Rangers, but that's sporadic and slotted in wherever it fits.

I guess White Collar comes back sometime this fall as well, but I don't know when. I figure somehow fandom will let me know.

Is there anything I'm missing? What do you think?
