not swinging as freely as he did earlier

Thanks to the vile enabling of
drinkmasturbatecry, who showed me the link, and
snacky, who encouraged the purchase, I am now the proud owner of these vintage pink pyrex mixing bowls. They're still in the bubble wrap because I haven't figured out yet where to put them, but they are lovely (I unwrapped them to have a look and then rewrapped them till I can figure out where they go).

Apparently, I am helpless to resist pretty pink vintage bowls. *hands*

My mother has the two larger ones in yellow, and I've pretty much determined that I don't want the house and I don't care that much about the jewelry, but I am totally taking the vintage cookware and bakeware when the inevitable finally occurs. I still have my grandmother's collection of vintage shot glasses wrapped up neatly, waiting for the day I have someplace to display them.

Been watching the tennis all afternoon and part of me is rooting for Wawrinka, but the other part of me feels like if he beats Djokovic after having knocked Federer out, that it might not end well for Rafa (if Rafa beats Gasquet, which of course I hope he does, since I want him to win the whole thing), because that has kind of a team of destiny feel to it (and I don't care that sports is real life and thus not constrained by narrative convention - sports frequently ends with narratives that totally sound like they're scripted when they are not).
