ugh, so in an update on my rent situation, they sent me - via email - a breakdown of where the error occurred and what it cost etc., so on the advice of my lawyer, I replied to the email saying that I would be willing to make a lump sum payment of $7500 by May 31 (which is less than they want but practically 75 cents on the dollar) to resolve ( Read more... )

That was me! I want librarian!Steve! My mom is a children's librarian and I love the idea of him doing storytime and doing all the character voices.

Poor Steve, he would be so embarrassed, but in the end he'd be okay with it because anything that gets kids in the door.

And the library board catches on and whenever the city threatens funding cuts they're all like: "gee, I guess we're going to have to cut back on storytime. It's too bad, the kids really love Steve." And mysteriously money is found and/or donations come pouring in.

Are they decent quality? I mean, the price was right, but I'd like them to be someone sturdy.

Huh. I don't think I realized that. Philly would make Bludhaven as not too far away make more sense, if Gotham and Bludhaven are in Jersey.

I just figured west coast, because I think that's where Ollie's from in the comics and also it's clearly filmed in Vancouver.

And not just Ted Kord (my personal highlight of a very good episode) - Laurel and Ollie apparently used to hang with Ray "The Atom" Palmer and Jean Loring. I'm assuming until otherwise stated that she and Laurel were pre-law together.

I wonder if Patrick Wilson is out of the show's budget for Ted? Having him play Blue Beetle AND Nite Owl would make my geek heart happy.

Ooh, I didn't even catch that reference.

Maybe? Maybe he'd find it kind of cool in a geeky way to do that too? *g*

Maybe they'll bring Jean on so Laurel doesn't have to be the Only Lawyer In Town.

Forgive a comment by a complete stranger? Just:

Steve the librarian who looks so earnestly disappointed when you bring your books back late that you never do it again! And Bucky is the queer studies grad student who is always in the library flirting with him. And eventually, they have sex in the stacks!

They do in their eye. No fluids near the books. They have sex in the breakroom and like it!

(Comment brought to you by someone who once had to process a stack of westerns that a patron had brought back covered in something sticky and yellowish. No fluids near the books.)

Bwah!

Well, Bucky could try for the seduction in the stacks and Steve could be like, "NOT IN FRONT OF THE BOOKS!"

*nods nods* Because Steve is a nice man, and has his priorities in the correct order. *grins faintly*
