I enjoyed the music and the president's speech at the inauguration, but that poet was just awful. I realize it's the only time in the guy's life he's going to open for Beyonce, but still. Awful.

I finished watching Cowboy Bebop today. I think overall I liked it and I'm glad I watched it, though there were some episodes that just didn't work for me ( Read more... )

yes we can, tv: cowboy bebop, tv: once upon a time

re: Regina

They mention in the episode that they've been trying to find her and haven't been able to. And they don't know her as well as Cora does, so they don't figure out where she's hidden herself.

Did they? I found some of the dialogue really hard to follow in the group scenes this week - I'm not sure if the sound mixing was off or if I just needed to turn up the volume.

I like Whale, but that was a pretty disappointing episode. They seem to have given up on maintaining any plot consistency at all. I know, I know, it was never all that consistent... maybe I'm just losing my ability to ignore it without Seb Stan around to distract me! ;-)

Ugh, please let this really be the end of Rumple/Belle! I just haven't been able to see why she'd stay with him at all for several episodes now. Otoh, I did enjoy the Whale and Ruby interaction... "I ate my boyfriend."

That's pretty much how I feel about it. I didn't think more of his backstory was really necessary, but I liked that he was at least partly interested in helping people and not just eternal life and power etc.

*nod nod*

Especially not when Ruby is RIGHT THERE.

The Cowboy Bebop movie's really good, actually. It just feels weird though, because it's set after episode 22 or 23 and is basically a longer episode, and it jars a bit knowing how the series end. It's really really beatifully shot though, and it's not like an extra long episode could ever be a bad thing.

I can see that, though I also kind of really want to see them all together again, so I will probably watch it soon.

I gotta say, I'm sort of interested in seeing more Ruby/Whale after their scenes together. But other than that, I'm with you. At this point, only Mom Snow and Daddy Charming are holding me to this series. I really, really dig their whole relationship and awesome parenting moments.

I guess I just don't find Whale all that interesting - it's David Anders who makes him so, to me. I mostly ship Ruby with Belle.

I also really like Regina and I want to see more of Aurora and Mulan, as well. I like having so many different ladies running around, but the writing is really pretty terrible a lot of the time.

i remember not loving the cowboy bebop movie, altho i don't remember why. maybe i saw the subbed version and was just too used to dubs, i don't know. i'd listen to nekare's opinion over mine, anyway, and it probably is worth seeing.

pierrot le fou was one of my favorite episodes on account of it was just so creepy. i had to watch it with the lights on.

Yeah, I'd like to see them all together one more time, so that will probably get me to watch it.

Pierrot le Fou was SO creepy and so well done.
