That his sister is her universe's Speedy is really not helping, either. (Laurel/Dinah is too good for Ollie in most universes, so that's really not anything new.)

I'm shipping Ollie/Diggs pretty hard, mostly because their vibe is very much Tony/Rhodey: The Early Years. And Ollie/Slade, because imagining that subtext makes the DEATHSTROKE ISLAND flashbacks more amusing.:)

Heh. Yes. Though whoever they've cast as Slade is going to have a hard time measuring up to Ron Perlman's version from Teen Titans. He was such a great villain.

I'm making my way through the final book in The Dark Tower series (don't worry - no spoilers from me!) so I'll be curious to read your thoughts. IMO, the books got progressively better until the fifth one (the fourth was my favorite).

Yeah, I tend to think series should top out at five books (with three being optimal), and I already think the two I've read could have been shorter (too much landscape description and too much repetition), but so far, I'm interested in seeing where it goes. If you post about it when you're done, I'll make sure to bookmark it so I can come back when I finish reading.

I hope you're okay and not without power! I've been fine here uptown, but the fam out on the island has been without power. Thankfully my parents got theirs back Tuesday morning, but I think my sister and brother are still in the dark.

Yes, very lucky here. Power flickered a lot, but stayed on the whole time. Trees stayed put.
