tre. Last night, I slept without the air conditioner on for the first time since June. I hate that summer is ending, but my wallet will be pleased to see my electric bill drop.

Me tooooo! I'm excited about it because I love fall, and our winters aren't usually too awful. *crossing my fingers*

I don't know if our winters have been worse - we had almost no snow last year, which was a blessing - or if I've just gotten even worse at handling them. Probably both?

I might also be earwormed with "Can't Help Falling in Love"

I'm glad you are because I was going to complain that you saddled me with that yesterday and I didn't even read the stinkin' story!

But I think I might need to listen to some Beach Boys now. I still have such fond memories of the Endless Summer 8 track that we'd always listen to in the car when we were kids.

Hee! Believe me, when I earworm you, it's likely because I'm suffering the same condition!

My brother has always been a huge Beach Boys fan, so he had a bunch of tapes we used to listen to over and over, so i have fond memories, too.

There's new Tom McRae?! Where? There needs to be a fannish resurgence of his lyrics showing up everywhere and his songs dominating fanmixes and being in vids...I miss him.

Also, when I was younger and people would talk about being either Beatles people or Elvis people, I'd talk about being a Beach Boys person. We had a "band" when we were kids that exclusively lip-synced BB songs into vaccuum cleaner hoses. Good times.

You can get a download from his website.

My brother was - is - a huge Beach Boys fan, so I have always liked them, because we listened to them a lot as kids.

I also dreamt that I was getting a mani-pedi with Harvey Specter from Suits.

This is not unusual to me in the least. As well as being a magnificent bastard (OUTSTANDING use of a tag!), he's one of the handful of characters that if I met him I'd agree to do compromising and out of character behavior because he's that charming.

SO CHARMING. I can't stand Mike, but Harvey, Jessica, Donna, and Rachel are AMAZING.
