Work was surprisingly not horrible; in fact, I may have gotten four of the meetings I have been struggling to schedule onto the calendar. I mean, I did, but I'm still waiting for someone to realize that they can't make the date they gave me or something

I couldn't stay awake long enough to go pick up my copy of Captain Marvel but I'm do stoked to get my hands on it in the morning. The stuff I've been seeing on Tumblr has me very optimistic.

I snagged a copy yesterday and enjoyed it a lot--I love how she and Cap go back and forth and how she technically outranks him, and then how he cuts to the heart of her ambivalence about taking up the mantle. Good stuff!

Hmm. On the fence about buying Captain Marvel. How problematic will waiting for the trade be? Cause I'm just really burnt out on serial right now, and want to see if the entire arc will be worth the money before I start.

Or maybe I'll just wait till I'm less burnt out and buy it anyway.

Also, I think Carol and Peter were crushing on each other for a while, which I approve of a bit more than Steve/Carol (since I like Steve/Sharon)...even though I don't really approve of Peter/AnyoneOtherThanMJ.

I just... never warmed to Sharon, partly because her storylines that I've read are so awful.

Well, it and Avenging Spider-man #9, in which Carol also features, sold out, which I guess is a good sign.
