Damn! It was fantastic. The conclusion to last season's cliff-hanger finale was kinda meh. I hope this one is better and Nazi treasure is converted to gold dabloons or Camel Dollars or something.

Yeah, they have a habit of making the cliffhangers awesome and the resolutions not so much, but I hope this one will break that pattern.

i bet jeff eastin thought he'd gotten rid of the loot for good too until he realized he needed a season-ending cliffhanger and decided it was "neal runs!" and then he had to somehow make that inevitable, so he had to retcon. hmph.

on the other hand, june is so consistently awesome. i really wish we could get a flashback episode with her and byron as a younger couple of cons. and neal ran because peter told him to! (and because the other option was them losing each other....) neal did not look thrilled to be leaving new york, and who can blame him.

edited because i now remember that neal got a look at the manifest and it seems a safe assumption that mozzie did too. (i don't remember if he did or not, but i'm going to assume yes, because neal told him about it.) so the fbi can probably check everything off it.
