One thing I'll say is that I love getting a response to feedback many months later. It makes me remember what a great story that was and provides me with a handy dandy link right in my email so I can re-read it. Everyone wins! :-)

I get squirrelly and avoidant for some reason, and then I feel like it has been too long

I am so glad I am not the only one! I feel bad about leaving it so long, so I avoid it even more and it gets left even longer, and it is a terrible positive feedback loop of procrastination and guilt!

Heh, no, definitely not the only one. but yeah, it is a terrible loop of procrastination and guilt. I keep thinking I've beat it down and then I do it again. Sigh.
