So I open the refrigerator at work this morning to grab milk to put in my coffee and discover that someone else has finished off my container of milk WHICH IS MINE AND HAD MY NAME ON IT. ARRGH. I know when Itunes first came out there was a big thing about whether it would either increase the variety of music that people listened to or narrow it down because of things like 'from these you might like that' and it'd all be the same genre.

Huh. Interesting.

I almost never follow iTunes recs, and I never found Pandora worked too well for me, either. Their algorithm was not tuned to whatever it was I liked about a particular song or artist, so their matches rarely worked for me.

It's totally the best of the Discworld books. It would be embarassing to admit how much Vimes has shaped my view of the world, so I won't but I *love* that book.
