I wanted it to get something and assumed I'd be disappointed, so I'm pretty happy about the two wins.

I mean, I like Julianna Margulies and I love The Good Wife, but I was hoping Connie Britton would win. I will take Kyle Chandler, though, and the writing award.

I have still never seen an episode of this show, because it didn't seem like one where I wanted to start in the middle? But I like Kyle Chandler (I am still bitter about the cancellation of Home Front in ...must have been 1992...) and he was totally adorable in his unwritten speech. :D Plus I was still wheeeee about Margo Martindale winning, yay.

Oh, you should totally watch it. It is AMAZING television (well, skip large parts of s2), and Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton have the most amazing marriage on tv.

Like you I've not (yet) watched any FNL but I still love Jeff and Ginger SO MUCH. As far as I can tell Homefront is *still* not on DVD. That's just horrible.

i didn't watch the emmys so i just read about that this morning. i couldn't do a happy dance because i'm at work and, you know, supposed to be working, but inside i was doing a happy dance. and i lovelovelove that minka kelly got to present his award. *hearts*
