I'd consider getting mobipocket reader/kindle reader for Ipad, and then use Instapaper (meant for articles, but works well on long fics, in my experience). I have the bookmarklet in my browser, just click it to 'read later' then head over to instapaper and choose 'download for kindle' and it's got your ebook of the webpage all made and digested.
I can imagine. She's had our head of IT in her office every morning to help her load apps and sync it with her computer and stuff. It's pretty hilarious.
I have so many ~feelings~ about the reboot. Especially the whole Barbara Gordon's Batgirl again mess, which gives me the rage every time I thing about it. (I laughed so hard when I read that DC's making a point to improve their diversity. Y'know, unless you're disabled. Then they magically fix you and undo 20 years of character development. Diversity!)

And I agree. The most enraging thing is regressing Barbara back to Batgirl and taking away Oracle. But no Steph or Cass or Helena, and no new Jaime Reyes is really also making me side-eye them hard. I mean, Hawk & Dove? Deathstroke? Hawkman? Really? This is what they think will get them new readers?
I'm glad that they've got two new books starring characters of color, and five starring women, but given how they're saying they want to be more diverse, that doesn't seem like very much. And yeah, it completely gets rid of disabled characters - without Oracle, do we even get Proxy?
I JUST heard about Martian Manhunter being on a rebooted Stormwatch with Authority characters (Jack Hawksmoor and Apollo.) I feel like my brain is trying to escape this mortal coil.
I went to all this trouble for a story that I don't even think is very good*, except I reread it fairly frequently because it pushes certain buttons in a practically perfect way.

I want to say to him, Tim, I realize you want to be like Dick in all possible ways, but I think even he admits that the feathers were a fashion misstep. The finger-stripes were a good idea! You should have gone with that! Especially since they've taken them away from Nightwing.
On the upside, at least he's not wearing that awful cowl?
I just can't imagine Tim wearing something that impractical! Imagine having to clean them, Alfred isn't always around and I don't think they'd do well in the washing machine. Blood, dirt, alien slime monsters etc.

I imagine that probably hasn't occurred to Tim (or the guy drawing him) yet. Not until he gets full of alien slime and blood and has to hand wash each feather carefully. Oh, man, now that is a story I would totally read.
