They apparently plan to do the whole DCAU, which means at some point I should maybe try to get hold of Superman: The Animated Series?
Yes! It's actually good!

It wasn't available at my usual source, which is why I skipped it, but possibly I will make an effort to track it down.

Oh, I really like that piece on FNL vs Glee. I think that FNL's joy in the small things, as the writer said, is why I liked it so much; the stories that I really love tend to be a little ouchy but with beautiful little moments.

Yeah, I thought it made some good points, even though I generally shy away from directly comparing two shows like that.

I downloaded a story directly from AO3 last night onto the iPad (which I have decided to name Robin. Shut up.)

:D My new laptop is most probably going to be called Nightwing. I was toying with Jason or Robin (or Pond after the Doctor Who character) but I was worried that calling it Jason might be a bad omen for its lifespan *is ridiculous*

Yeah, amberlynne suggested "Dick," but I thought that would be too awkward. Robin is geeky but not embarrassing if I have to share it with someone else.

I understand! It's why I finally decided against naming my laptop Alexander III.

A friend sent me a story in epub format (not from AO3) and I was able to open it using Stanza. Then again I was on my macbook pro not the ipad.

I'll try it tomorrow on my hubby's ipad to check - hopefully I will have an answer for you. :-)

Yeah, I've learned that I have to download the stories onto my laptop in Stanza and then synch it with the iPad.

I still had some trouble, but that was all AO3 throwing out error messages, and not the iPad, so we'll see how it goes.
