No, I agree. I like the porn sometimes, but mostly I want that for the pairings I'm really hardcore shippy about - the rest of the time, I mostly want gen where there is banter and the sorting out of relationship issues.

Most days I want to read the fic about Dick, Tim, Jason and Damian sorting out their shit with one another (or, you know, with Bruce - OK, mostly, I want to read long Jason fics sorting his shit out, and having that talk, or that epic face smashing fight with Bruce that doesn't end in insanity or another trip as Stupid Villain.). I want long fics about Stef finding Cassandra nd shouting at her for leaving without talking to her, without explaining, without contacting her because dammit. she is her best friend. YES TO ALL OF THIS ( ... )

I'm trying. I don't know how in character Tim will be, but then, the whole scenario is kind of ridiculously OOC, so we'll see what happens. He basically spends most of it thinking, "I thought things like this only happened to Dick."

I believe in a multiplicity of Tims! He could do anything if you gave him a Tim based reason to start with and the comics have written him in many different ways. Let me know if you want to talk about it - I'm certainly not an expert but I might be able to help.

I think it's working? If you believe that Tim is going to have sex with girls, and do so with two of them at once? Which I admit is kind of a stretch for me? *g* Though I guess if I were going to believe him having sex with two girls at once, these two are a pretty good choice. Of course, i haven't gotten to the sex yet - 1250 words and he's finally like, "...okay."

Mostly, I'm worried that since I don't have a really clear voice for him in my head, I'm just mimicking all the fanfic Tims I've read, rather than seeing him clearly from the canon I've read.
