So I've been reading Birds of Prey and I don't really have any deep thoughts about anything, but OH MY GOD, HELENA HOW ARE YOU SO AWESOME?

I mean, sure, Babs and Dinah are also awesome (and I totally ship them now, because they are totally married), but Helena is the lady vigilante of my heart.

That is so weird! I read these exact same issues last night and I was going to posts scans and tell you that you have to read them because Helena is so awesome. And then you'd read them too.

Whenever I read the bit where Batman admits that it was excellent work, my heart grows three sizes. But it bothers me a little because she really doesn't need his paternalistic approbation, but then I'm back to "Yay! Batman had to admit that she was awesome".

I felt the same way about it NML - I don't think she needs anything from Batman (except some respect), but because she seems to need it so intensely, I really want her to have it.
