Though I laughed and laughed at the line in the "No Man's Land" which purported that Tim didn't enjoy doing surveillance and spying on people, and unlike Dick found it hard to sit still (!!!!).

I must have missed that (possibly I read that issue at 3am) because, Yeah, that makes NO sense. Was that in one of the issues where they were running around the sewers in go-carts or something? It is all starting to blur into one.

It was in the novelization, not the comics. It's when Tim gets sent to spy on Huntress when she's with Petit. I meant to comment on it when I posted about finishing the book, and forgot. It was one of the few moments in the novelization where I was like, "NO, YOU'RE WRONG." After I'd finished laughing, of course, because it's not just wrong on one level (Tim doesn't like surveillance!) but two (it's harder for him to sit still than for Dick!!!). I mean, when someone as canon-deficient as I am is going, NO WAY, something is clearly wrong.

Ah! That would be why, I haven't read that. I'm really surprised that he got both those things so wrong. I mean the whole point of Tim is that he is a stalker and Dick is always moving. Maybe he got them mixed up. Have you seen the scan where Dick is chatting to Alfred because he is so bored while on surveillance? Possibly the funniest part of Nightwing ever.

Exactly! It's only, like, two sentences, but they're two HILARIOUSLY WRONG sentences.

Have you seen the scan where Dick is chatting to Alfred because he is so bored while on surveillance? Possibly the funniest part of Nightwing ever.

I think I have. Or possibly I'm mixing it up with the one where he's doing surveillance in the rain and wondering if he should get a Robin so he doesn't have to do it himself.
