Eeee! *flails about madly* So in love with that comic page. And I desperately need to get some Tim/Kon icons.

I'll admit, my OTPness for them carried over so much that in the first few episodes of Young Justice, before there was any hard confirmation on who it was, I had convinced myself that it wasn't Dick, but rather Tim sporting the R.

Though I am loving the Kon/Megan/Wally hilarity and find Megan way endearing. I'm also loving Dick's obsession with words (Gruntled! Whelmed!) and Kon's seeming egging on of this by using them later.

(Captcha is crazy... "fuzziness edelys?" Srsly?)

Unfortunately, Wally's attitude towards Megan has made me really dislike him, which kind of breaks my heart - I adore the JLU version of him. Hopefully, Artemis will continue to call him on that and he'll get better.

Captcha is crazy... "fuzziness edelys?" Srsly?

Huh. I didn't think I had captcha turned on except for anonymice.

I can totally see what you're saying. I'm hoping all the teenage boy b.s. is just that. I mean, there's moments I really like him (Souvenir!) and moments where I'm like "C'mon, Walls, seriously?". Personally I think Artemis is going to be a great addition and honestly I see them taking it a Honeymooners sort of route with Wally and her - on each others nerves constantly, snippy snippy, but don't you dare take a shot at either one or the other will bust you.

I think my favorite part so far is the fact that Bats seems to have this thing going right now where he's like "Well, that's just great. Clark is being an idiot an a jerk, so I have to be the responsible parent." The words of encouragement he gave Kon after serving up some 'deal with it' to Clark were nice. Cool to see Bruce doing the parental thing but still letting the kids figure it out on their own.

I hadn't seen that - so, so blatant! Hee! My Clone Boy. That is so very true.

For some reason I'm in a Jaime/Tim place at the moment but Tim and Kon are adorable together ♥

It's sad to find a cache of fic in a rare pairing you like, only to discover that it's riddled with 'the other man,' 'the taller man,' 'the smaller man,' and 'the brunette' etc.

*nods* I've been finding so much fic like this recently - it is so frustrating because otherwise the authors are pretty good storytellers. How has no one ever pointed this out to them?

I like Jaime/Tim (they do it FOR SCIENCE), but mostly I like Tim and Kon to be together, and Jaime with Paco and Brenda. I like my BFF ships a lot. Obviously. *snerk*

How has no one ever pointed this out to them?

I think in the case of older fic, it was more acceptable 8 or 10 years ago than it is now, at least in the circles I read in, so it was a more common stylistic thing. But I had to click right out because I couldn't take it.

BFF ships are awesome! You should definitely write some Jaime/Brenda/Paco. I can't imagine them being anything other than hilarious together.

I give it more of a pass when it's in older fic but I was thinking of things written in the last few weeks :(
