= reena_jenkins recorded podfic for three of my stories and you can find links here: Ivy League Material, Kore, and Easy as Pie. So cool!
= it's nice that canon ships Tim/Kon as much as fandom does. I've found that I am sort of ridiculously OTP about them. I mean, I read and enjoy Tim/Jaime, because ♥Jaime♥, but I still sort of feel sad for Kon when I do. Otoh, I do kind of ship Superboy/Megan on the new Young Justice, but that's only because Megan is my favorite on that show and it's what she wants, and it's okay because Tim is probably only about three in the narrative present in that universe. (Though I'm sure he's already got a scrapbook devoted to Dick Grayson, Champion Mathlete. Which will never ever stop being hilarious.)
Sometimes I get the feeling that OTP doesn't mean the same thing to me that it means to other people. *snerk*
= Also, there needs to be some Jaime/Paco/Brenda fic. *adds to list of things to write, since apparently no one else is going to do it*
= Speaking of Superman, Mighty Godking has a good essay about Superman's appeal. (I also like the essays on Lois Lane and Lex Luthor, though the latter doesn't mention Lex's true reason for hating Superman - most acrimonious breakup ever.)
= It's sad to find a cache of fic in a rare pairing you like, only to discover that it's riddled with 'the other man,' 'the taller man,' 'the smaller man,' and 'the brunette' etc. *shakes fist* Unless you are getting your Homer on, please refrain from constant use of epithets!
= I had a lovely dinner last night with dotfic, innie_darling and tenaciousmetoo. Plus, they helped me clarify some things about a story I want to write. Now I have to do some research (and by "research" I mean "rewatch season 1 of Veronica Mars").
= Bosses have been successfully launched on vacation, so far with a minimum of incoming email. Let's hope it stays that way.
