I told you to watch! The bodyswap episode is great.

And I did not expect to love Shayera as much as I do, but I really do.
I loved her so much too! I'm glad you liked the show.

Batman does appreciate Flash, and I love the dynamics of that friendship, how they're counterpoints to each other, visually and in attitude, and that Flash isn't all ultra grim and experienced yet he also has mad detective skills (I was delighted at the reveal about his day job, forensics yay). I gen shipped the heck out of them and maybe now looking back think I may have shipped it a little in the slashy way, although not as much as I ship Batman/Superman or Batman/Wonder Woman.

I need to get back to my Timm-Dini verse rewatching, you're making me want to rematch JLU but I want to finish my rewatch of Batman animated first.

Yes, counterpoints! That's exactly the word I couldn't think of. I think he provides some of the same balance for Batman that Robin does, in similar quippy fashion.

I still can't wrap my head around slashing them, though, mostly because I'm still in that, "But isn't Wally one of Dick's BFFs? You don't date your BFF's dad!" place.
