It's finally warming up again, well, where warm equals ~45°. Yesterday was so cold I wore a turtleneck under my turtleneck. And by repeating it twice, I have totally rendered the word "turtleneck" meaningless. Ah, I make my own fun

That's so odd--I mean, what's strange about a female psychopomp? Seems like that was established at least with Persephone, right?

I don't think it's so much that she's female as it is she's a cute young brunette who favors all black ensembles and tries to offer some measure of comfort to the newly dead souls. I never watched Dead Like Me, but I think that had female reapers too.

Yep! Dead Like Me had 4 female Reapers, one left due to RL reasons and was replaced with another one. However none of them were like Tessa, they lived lives, had to earn a living, and had to really juggle their schedules to be on time for their Reaps. Okay, I admit it, I loved Dead Like Me.

You do! It starts slow, but once Death actually shows up, things kick into gear and it only gets better.

Wow,loved your entry and the shout out to Pulp Fiction and that band-aid. Loved that movie and loved that character.

And yeah, this episode was pretty beyond better than most of the season and totally love Tessa and can not believe that Death has grown on me.

I also enjoyed Death carrying Sam's soul in a black bag.
Is it weird that that might have been my favorite detail? The style of the bag was so very Death too. Antique yet...dapper. I got a kick out of it.
