part of me is ok with the fact that sam came back from hell without something, rather than with something, and i liked that he seemed a bit worried about it, altho i really, really wanted him to say "i can't feel anything and it's freaking me out". i mean, he seemed kind of freaked out, but we all know what a liar he is, so how he seems doesn't mean anything.

and because i am just that smart, after i watched the episode i thought "oh, ok, so he came back without any empathy, i can deal with that" without putting one and one together and getting "oh right, NO SOUL". >.< which i never twigged to because i was still hoping he was 100% pure sam but just changed by all his recent experiences. i mean, going to hell and getting dragged back out will fuck you up, whether you keep your soul intact or not
