McGarrett is a douche. I don't really like him much and you know I end adoring the assholes...him...it's like...I'm a lone wolf, but he doesn't have any sort of charm or super-awesome anything to counter the douche.
I love Danny. He's great. I also love Kono and Chin and every thing else aside from McDouche.
I am so behind my CM watching. I guess when I heard that my girls were leaving/losing screen time, I got meh about it. Prentiss is my favourite character. Probably because she's ungodly hot and I adore her.
Anyway, what I really noticed about the series is how much ...warmer Bruce is as an old man. Warmer?? I noticed the opposite. I felt he'd become more hardened, the way he was so blasé about the villains dying or experiencing dire torment now.
Well, I meant in terms of how he dealt with Terry. He seemed a little more open and willing to show his sense of humor as an old man, which he only really seemed to do with Alfred earlier.
Yeah, I ... I really felt it undercut the whole point of Batman Beyond. And it was full of logic fail! Why on earth would Amanda Waller not just CLONE Bruce instead of allowing his genetic material to be mixed with an unknown woman's? How on earth does Terry not know his own genetic makeup in a world where splicing is a teenage fad? And that doesn't even get into how much of an asshole he was (though I guess that was sort of the point? You even inherent being a jerk?), where he was behaving less maturely at 30 than he had at 16.
Apparently I have strong feelings on this subject. Heh.
I realize that for the premise of the show to work, Bruce has to be alone at the start, but even so, that estrangement was more painful than I expected it to be.
As it should be, because it is a thing of pure evil!

Btw, in Glee it was pointed out to be that nobody really voted for that duet, exactly. Everyone voted for themselves except Rachel and Finn who voted for that duet as part of their plan, so they won.
See, I just... make it its own AU, and then it's okay. Because Terry is full of sparkly hearts and rainbows! And he's going to engineer a Bruce-Dick reunion somehow! In my head, anyway.
